Dean Wooten was fired after 7 years of employment at the Muscatine Wal-Mart store for a computer generated picture of himself wearing a Walmart sack. Mr. Wooten allegedly said to costumers that since Walmart was cutting back on expenses that this was the new uniform then he showed them the picture.
As you can see this is a riot. I nearly split a seam in my pajama's in laughter. You see more flesh at the swimming pool than what was there in that picture. But people complained. So he was fired.
When Mr. Wooten tried to file for his unemployment benefits he was denied by Administrative Law Judge Susan Brightman, who ruled that "a reasonable person would know the act of showing a naked body wearing a Wal-Mart sack would not be good for the employer's business."
"I didn't have nothing against Wal-Mart," said Mr. Wooten. "A friend of mine got the photo of the body off the Internet, and he had a picture of me and he put my head on it. When I first seen it, I pretty near died laughing."
Go figure.
So now a 65 year old man is out of a decent job all because of joke. Seems like no one has a sense of humor anymore. I bet those people who complained have pictures on their computers that show more flesh than that picture and are far more tasteless.
